Job summary
Groove Quantum in Delft is building the scalable quantum computer of the future using semiconductor germanium quantum dots. As a Quantum Measurement Engineer, you will design and implement measurement pipelines for automated, high-throughput qubit characterization and feed data-driven insights to systems engineering.
You will work with theorists, software and fabrication engineers, contribute to quantum control, automation strategies, and analysis of large datasets to accelerate R&D in a
Qualifications
- Proven hands‑on experience in experimental quantum research.
- Proficiency in Python for quantum control and data analysis.
- Experience with hardware and cryogenic setups (AWGs, digitisers, DACs, cryogenics).
- Strong analytical capabilities and clear written and spoken English communication.
Responsibilities
- Processor measurement & tune-up: automate QPU tune-up and characterisation.
- High-throughput measurement framework for automated, large-volume characterisation.
- Performance analysis & correlation between design/fabrication and quantum outcomes.
- Data-driven system feedback to inform design, optimisation, and operation.
- Cross-functional R&D collaboration with theorists, software and fabrication engineers.
