Qualifications

• Penultimate year of study in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, graduating in 2028.
• Proficient experience in Java or C++.
• Strong teamwork and creativity; able to work in a collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to solve problems programmatically.
• Genuine interest in financial markets; no prior knowledge required.
• Available to start internship on June 28, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Enhance knowledge of algorithm complexity, data structures, and fluent coding.
• Support the development of the trading platform and software stack.
• Gain experience across the software development lifecycle through collaboration with traders, researchers, and hardware engineers.
• Help identify, implement, and validate changes to IMC’s trading algorithms and systems.
• Participate in hackathons and technology challenges to improve coding skills.
• Attend workshops and trainings alongside the internship cohort.
