Job summary

APG Asset Management Amsterdam is seeking a Quant Developer to join the Real Estate investment team. You will lead development of a data-driven analytics platform used in investment decisions and collaborate with global teams to turn research into scalable tools.

The role requires a Master’s in quantitative fields and 5–8 years of data engineering experience, with strong Python/SQL skills and Databricks expertise. A hybrid work setup and pension are offered.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in quantitative disciplines (Math, Stats, CS).
• 5–8 years of experience in data engineering and analytics.
• Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, Git.
• Experience with Databricks, Power BI, LLMs, CI/CD pipelines, microservices.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance data-driven analytics and LLM platform for investment decisions.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, researchers, and engineers across regions.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and applications leveraging Databricks.
• Translate research into scalable, low-maintenance information products.
• Ensure system stability, data accuracy, and model transparency.
