APG is op zoek naar een PySpark/Databricks Developer om data pipelines te bouwen voor Investment en Research Platforms en om bestaande data-flows te optimaliseren.

Je werkt nauw samen met investment desks en analytics-teams en beheert Azure DevOps-repositories voor CI/CD. Je hebt minimaal 5 jaar ervaring in data engineering en een achtergrond in Computer Science / Engineering.

Responsibilities

Dit wordt je functie PySpark/Databricks Developer We are an international team who serve the Responsible Investments Domain in providing strategic responsible investment solutions on the back of the Cloud technologies with the objective to support the investment strategies to achieve the best returns for our clients. The role

On behalf of the Asset Management Responsible Investments team at APG, we are looking for a PySpark/Databricks Developer to join our team. In this role, your focus will be on developing data pipelines for newly developed Investment and Research Platforms as well as streamlining data flows for existing platforms.

What You Would Do

• Develop and maintain PySpark-based data pipelines in Databricks.
• Manage Databricks workspaces, dependencies, and integrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to enhance data models for BI tools.
• Maintain Azure DevOps repositories for version control and CI/CD.
• Document solutions and share knowledge within the team.
• Engage with stakeholders including front office, IT, and architecture teams.

What You Bring

As a PySpark/Databricks developer, you are a specialist in finding data-driven solutions. You think in terms of opportunities and are service minded. Taking ownership and accepting responsibility comes naturally to you; you have a pragmatic attitude and are motivated to deliver quality. You have a willingness to develop or enhance your t-shaped skills.

• Strong expertise in PySpark, Databricks, and Python (OO principles).
• Experience with Azure Data Platform and DevOps practices.
• Solid background in data modeling and querying (5+ years).
• Background/degree in Computer Science / Engineering.
• Highly developed communication skills in English.
• Must be self-motivated, well organized, team player.

Nice to haves

• Familiarity with financial datasets and investment data flows.
• Experience with other modern programming languages.
• SQL database setup and optimization.
• Exposure to web development.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
• Mentoring or coaching junior developers.

What We Offer You

We will offer you, depending on relevant knowledge and experience, a gross salary in the range of 5341 and 7630 euro gross per month based on full-time employment and great employment conditions aimed at flexibility, such as:
