Qualys Engineer – Security, Vulnerability Management

• Salary: Gross monthly salary between EUR 5,030 and EUR 7,183 (scale 09)for a 36-hour work week.
• Extras: a thirteenth month, 8% holiday allowance, and a 10% Employee Benefit Budget.
• Development budget: EUR 1,400 development budget per year for your growth and development.

As a skilled Qualys engineer, specializing in leveraging the Qualys platform to identify vulnerabilities, play a pivotal role in ensuring systems are secure, resilient and aligned with our best practices. Your expertise in vulnerability management contributes to mitigating risks and maintaining a robust security.

Examples for Practices

• Support the design, deployment, and expansion of the existing Qualys subscription
• Optimise scanning strategies for scale, performance, and coverage
• Configure and maintain scanners (physical, virtual, cloud agents)
• Actively contribute to the Vulnerability management process
• DevOps way of working (You build ityou own it, Life cycle management, Shift left mindsetetc.)
• Applies operating system hardening best practices and secure configuration standards to strengthen system security, minimize attack surfaces, and support a resilient infrastructure.

This role will focus on scaling existing Qualys capabilities, enhancing vulnerability management coverage, integrating with enterprise systems, and driving best practices across a complex and distributed infrastructure.
