Job summary

Karsten International is seeking a Quality Technical Manager for cosmetics and chemistry to secure product quality and regulatory compliance across formulations. You'll collaborate with the Quality team, Product Management, and our China team to optimise processes and ensure safety and legal adherence.

You will lead, train and support junior staff while engaging suppliers and managing technical files. Amsterdam-based, on-site with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related subject.
• 5+ years experience in quality assurance or in a similar environment or a lab.
• Excellent knowledge of EU legislation for nonfood items.
• Experience with customer portals such as impact buying (i.e. SIM, TÜV, Amfori etc.)
• Experience BRC or management systems.
• Experience setting up and implementing quality processes.
• Previous experience in product-safety legislation.

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Technical Manager- Cosmetics and Chemistry whose responsibility will be to ensure the quality of our cosmetic and general formulated products and processes. Together with the Quality team, including the Head of Quality, Technical Managers and Technologists, you will work closely with colleagues from Product Management and our team in China.

You will ensure that our products comply with legal requirements and follow developments in laws and regulations within the product groups in which Karsten International is active. In addition, you will optimise quality processes, perform risk analyses and advise your colleagues.
