Job summary

Lighthouse Instruments, LLC seeks a Quality Manager to lead the QMS in GMP and non-GMP labs, ensuring regulatory compliance and ongoing improvement across activities.

This hands-on role emphasizes risk management, documentation, training, and timely quality decision making to support daily operations.

You will oversee audits, change controls, nonconformances, CAPAs, supplier qualification, and quality reviews, driving a culture of quality.

Qualifications

• BSc degree in Life Sciences/Chemistry/related fields.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Quality Management systems.
• 2–5 years of relevant GMP experience preferably in laboratory environment.
• Strong ability to adapt in dynamic environments.
• Strong self-reliance skills with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively with multicultural colleagues and customers.
• Flexible personality: adapt to unexpected and urgent requests.
• Very well organized and able to set priorities with acute attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills in English, proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
• You reside in or near Diemen and have a valid BSN.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, improve, and ensure compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee GMP training activities for QA personnel and employees to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage quality documentation systems, lifecycle management, and SOP reviews/approvals.
• Lead Quality Risk Management activities and assess process risks.
• Manage supplier qualification and oversight, including Approved Supplier List maintenance.
• Plan and execute internal audits and support customer/regulatory inspections.
• Manage QMS processes, impact assessments, and approvals.
• Act as primary Quality contact for customers on quality system-related requests and questions.
• Provide leadership and coaching to the QA team and contribute to management discussions.
• Oversee CSV activities and computerized systems compliance.
