Job summary

Suntree Food BV, part of Cefetra Group, is seeking a Quality Manager to support a fast-growing international operation and ensure food safety across the supply chain. You will manage audits, improve quality systems, and guide internal and external stakeholders to meet IFS broker and organic standards.

You will lead risk assessments, manage complaints, and collaborate with QA professionals across NZV and Bio Nederland while driving continuous improvement and compliance in a dynamic startup

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quality or Food safety or Food technology.
• Knowledge of HACCP, IFS or BRC is a plus.
• Passion about working in quality within international supply chain.
• Affinity with software like Navision/Dynamics, Odoo and MS Office.
• Proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Verify food safety and organic certificates.
• Register and assist in follow-up of complaints or issues.
• Keep sampling and analysis plans up to date and approve lab reports.
• Monitor compliance with food safety systems (IFS broker & Organic legislation).
• Assist in Sustainability and EUDR regulation reporting.
• Coordinate customer and vendor approvals.
• Network with QA professionals in NZV and Bio Nederland.
• Prepare and guide internal and external audits and implement improvements (IFS & EU Organic).

The job

As a Quality Manager at Suntree Food BV, your role is to facilitate and support the fast-growing organisation to ensure the delivery of food safe products to our customers. On a daily basis you will provide quick and efficient feedback to internal and external questions, continuously improve quality (and related IT) systems, provide training, and keep the quality handbook up to date. You will assist in the development and maintenance of risk assessments and incident management. You will also deal with complaints, non-conformities and carry out internal and external audits. Your responsibilities will be:

• Verification of Food Safety and organic certificates
• Register and assist in follow up of internal and external complaints or issues
• Keep the sampling and analysis plan up to date, including interpretation and approval of laboratory analysis reports.
• Monitor compliance with the food safety system IFS broker & Organic legislation (SKAL).
• Assist in Sustainability and EUDR regulation reporting
• Customer and vendor approvals.
• Network with industry QA professionals in NZV and Bio Nederland
• Prepare and guide internal and external audits and implement improvement measures (IFS and EU Organic certification)

You should be able to work both independently and with people from all levels within the Cefetra Group. You should also be able to identify with the following requirements:

• Your educational background is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in the field of Quality or Food safety or Food technology;
• You have knowledge of HACCP, IFS or BRC is a plus.
• You are passionate about working in Quality within the international Supply chain;
• You have affinity with programs like Microsoft Navision/Dynamics Business Central, Odoo and MS Office;
• You are proficient in Dutch and English, both verbal and written.
