Job summary

Bonatti Spa Dutch Branch is seeking a Quality Inspector E&I to join the Porthos CO₂ Project on Maasvlakte 2 in the Netherlands. You will oversee electrical and instrumentation construction and testing, ensuring compliance with ITPs, specifications and project procedures.

You will coordinate inspections, document control, NCRs, and witness points while upholding HSE requirements and supporting construction teams on site.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in QA/QC within construction projects.
• Knowledge of industry standards (UL, NEC, NFPA, CEN) and field application.
• Experience conducting multidisciplinary inspections and monitoring construction quality activities.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and basic AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and supervise E&I installation and testing according to approved ITPs and specifications.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality and technical requirements.
• Conduct surveillance inspections to identify and prevent non-conformities.
• Support construction teams in resolving issues related to inspections and testing.
• Manage NCRs and verify corrective action closure.
• Coordinate witness and hold points with the Client/Contractor.
• Prepare and follow up on punch lists until final acceptance.
• Maintain and upload all Quality Control documentation.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE requirements during all activities.

Job description

We are looking for a Quality Inspector E&I to join our team at Bonatti Spa Dutch Branch for the Porthos CO₂ Project, which involves the construction of a compression station for the storage of CO₂ in an empty gas field in the North Sea.

Responsibilities

The role will ensure that all electrical and instrumentation construction and testing activities are executed in full compliance with project requirements, quality standards, and applicable procedures. It also supports construction teams, coordinates inspections, and safeguards proper documentation throughout all project phases.

• Inspect and supervise E&I installation and testing according to approved ITPs and specifications.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with quality and technical requirements.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of O&G documentation, E/I procedures, ITPs, ITRs, punch lists and quality dossiers.
• Knowledge of industry standards (UL, NEC, NFPA, CEN, etc.) and ability to apply them in the field.
• Experience conducting multidisciplinary inspections and monitoring construction quality activities.
• Familiarity with warehouse procedures for material preservation and MSDS guidelines.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PWS, Outlook, and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Availability to work on site, at the construction site
