Job summary

Oatly is seeking a Quality Manager for our Vlissingen site to secure high standards in quality and food safety. You will own the quality management system, build a strong food safety culture, and shape the site’s quality strategy with the team.

You will lead the quality function, drive compliance with BRCGS and GMP, own audits and certifications, and manage CAPA, recalls, and crisis response while improving KPI performance and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Quality Management, or a comparable discipline.
• Extensive experience managing BRC compliance and advanced knowledge of HACCP, CIP, hygiene standards, GMP, and hygienic design in a manufacturing environment.
• Fluency in English; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site Quality function and laboratory team.
• Drive and strengthen food safety compliance in line with BRCGS, GMP and applicable legislation.
• Lead audits (BRC and other) and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Own CAPA, incident management, traceability, recalls and crisis response.
• Monitor quality performance, manage risks, and drive KPI improvements.
• Provide quality oversight across site operations and change initiatives.
