Job summary

Carriere in Weert zoekt een Quality Control Officer. Je bewaakt productkwaliteit, veiligheid en compliance in het productieproces en werkt nauw samen met laboratorium, QA en productie om verbeteringen door te voeren en processen betrouwbaarder te maken.

Je registreert en traceert producten, signaleert afwijkingen tijdig en ondersteunt HACCP/BRC/IFS/GMP-normen. Een uitdagende fulltime positie met mogelijkheden voor professionele groei in de voedingsindustrie.

Qualifications

• MBO/HBO niveau in Voeding of gerelateerd vakgebied.
• Goede beheersing van Nederlands en Engels.
• Ervaring in een voedselproductieomgeving.
• Kennis van HACCP, BRC, IFS of GMP.
• Nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en proactieve aanpak.

Responsibilities

• Monitoren en controleren van product- en proceskwaliteit, inclusief monsters en laboratoriumcoördinatie.
• Zekerstellen van traceerbaarheid van productstromen van ontvangst tot levering.
• Signalen van kwaliteitsafwijkingen tijdig communiceren en corrigerende acties ondersteunen.
• Ondersteunen van continue verbetering en naleving van hygiëne, veiligheid en kwaliteitsnormen.

Over de functie

As a Quality Control Officer, you play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality, safety and compliance throughout the production process. Working closely with laboratory, QA and production teams, you help identify opportunities for improvement and contribute to building efficient, reliable and high‑quality processes.

• Monitor and control product and process quality, including sample preparation, laboratory coordination and evaluation of test results
• Ensure full product traceability by accurately registering and monitoring product flows from receipt through to customer delivery
• Identify and communicate quality deviations in a timely manner, providing clear recommendations and supporting corrective actions
• Support continuous improvement and compliance by maintaining hygiene, safety and quality standards and contributing to process, system and product development

Wat wij vragen

• MBO+/HBO level of education, preferably in Food Technology or a related field
• Proficiency in Dutch language and English language as well
• Experience in a food production environment
• Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, IFS or GMP quality standards
• Accurate, structured and proactive approach, with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
