NES Fircroft is seeking a QC Microbiology Analyst to join a growing Quality Control team in a GMP-regulated biotechnology setting. You will gain hands-on experience in environmental monitoring and microbiological testing, contributing to high-quality lab operations.

The role supports daily QC microbiology activities in a fast-paced environment and offers opportunities to collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing teams, ensuring documentation is accurate and compliant.

Formación

  • MLO Level 3 or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in Microbiology, Quality Control, or Environmental Monitoring.
  • Experience with microbiological techniques such as air monitoring and surface monitoring.

Responsabilidades

  • Perform environmental monitoring activities within cleanroom environments.
  • Conduct microbiological testing, including sterility testing and plate reading.
  • Document, enter, review, and trend laboratory data.
  • Support routine maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment and workspaces.
  • Ensure GMP compliance and internal procedures.

About the Role

We are looking for a QC Microbiology Analyst to join a growing Quality Control team supporting advanced manufacturing operations. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates and junior professionals who are eager to gain hands‑on experience in environmental monitoring, microbiological testing, and quality control within a highly regulated setting.

As part of a collaborative team, you will play a key role in ensuring laboratory activities are performed to the highest quality standards while contributing to the production of innovative therapies that positively impact patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform environmental monitoring activities within cleanroom environments.
  • Conduct microbiological testing, including sterility testing and plate reading.
  • Accurately document, enter, review, and trend laboratory data.
  • Support routine maintenance and upkeep of laboratory equipment and workspaces.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP requirements and internal procedures.
  • Assist with investigations, laboratory activities, and departmental projects.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues across Quality and Manufacturing teams.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and laboratory records.
  • Support daily QC Microbiology operations in a fast‑paced environment.
What We're Looking For
  • MLO Level 3 or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in Microbiology, Quality Control, or Environmental Monitoring.
  • Experience with microbiological techniques such as air monitoring and surface monitoring.
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations.
  • Familiarity with GMP-regulated environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Good communication skills in English (minimum B1 level).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • A proactive, flexible, and team‑oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving work environment.
Working Schedule

This position follows an 18-week rotating shift schedule:

  • Day Shift: 07:30/08:30 - 16:30/17:30
  • Evening Shift: 15:00 - 23:30
  • Additional 12.24% shift allowance applies.
