Job summary

Sire Search in Hoofddorp is seeking a QC Microbiologist to join our client’s GMP environment. The role focuses on cleanroom environmental monitoring, sterility-related activities, and accurate documentation within a collaborative QC team.

You will perform air and surface monitoring, support routine microbiology tasks, ensure data integrity, and help drive department improvements while adhering to GMP and safety standards. Evening shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• MLO level 3 or a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology.
• Up to 4 years of microbiology lab experience, preferably including cleanroom monitoring.
• Experience with air and surface microbiological monitoring.
• Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom environments.
• Familiarity with GMP, regulations, and QC processes.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and data entry.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleanroom environmental monitoring (air and surface).
• Execute routine microbiological activities such as sterility testing support and plate reading.
• Ensure accurate data entry, review, and support trending of test results.
• Maintain a clean and compliant laboratory environment, including routine equipment and workspace upkeep.
• Support departmental projects and other QC microbiology tasks as required.
• Work according to GMP procedures and follow safety and quality standards consistently.
• Participate in the shift schedule as required (day and evening shifts).

The QC Microbiology Analyst works within a larger QC team and contributes to reliable daily operations and department improvements.
