Openclaims in Amsterdam is seeking a hands-on QA internship student to help shape how our platform is tested and released. You will learn the codebase, review the test framework, and collaborate with developers to add automated tests and improve CI/CD practices.
You’ll be supervised by a QA Engineer, work with the development team daily, and gain real responsibility in a small Amsterdam-based team.
Handling car damage claims can be smarter. We prove it every day, as an Amsterdam scale-up of 20+ people, with software that genuinely helps insurers, fleet companies and automotive businesses move forward.
Our team is small and driven. We're curious, like working together and are always looking for the better way.
Are you the student who can't leave a bug alone until you know exactly why it happens? Then we're looking for you.
You won't be the intern who clicks through a test script someone else wrote. You'll be the one who decides how our platform gets tested, and who makes sure a release goes out without surprises.
In your first weeks you get to know our platform, our existing test framework and the way our developers build and ship. You sit with the development team, read the code and run the tests yourself. After that you take ownership: you add new automated tests, fix the ones that break and pick up DevOps improvements on your own. You're supervised by our QA Engineer and work daily with our developers.
You get energy from finding the weak spot in something that looks finished. You like building things that make other people's work more reliable, and you want to learn how software is tested and shipped in a real product team, not just in a course.
