Job summary

Dilaco NL in Leeuwarden is seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join an innovative educational software provider. The role combines automated and manual testing within a Scrum team, focusing on Playwright-based end-to-end tests, API tests, and selective C#/.NET integration checks.

You will ensure test reliability in CI/CD, help refine testing scope from refinement onward, and contribute to quality as a shared responsibility. Remote options apply with on-site days as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years as QA engineer or test automation engineer.
• Experience with agile in a Scrum team.
• Experience with Playwright (TypeScript or C#).
• Experience with API testing (REST) and Bruno or similar tools.
• Basic knowledge of C#/.NET to read code and tests.
• Experience with CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
• Team player with good communication; fluent Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a Scrum team; help decide what needs testing and how.
• Write and maintain automated tests (end-to-end with Playwright, API, and integration tests).
• Ensure tests run in the CI/CD pipeline and are trusted by the team.
• Manual testing for new features or edge cases where automation is not beneficial.
• Report findings clearly and reproducibly; collaborate with developers to locate issues.
• Promote quality as a shared responsibility across the team.
