Job summary

DPS Group Global is seeking an experienced QA CSA Inspector to support a large-scale greenfield data centre project from the earliest construction phases through to completion.

This role requires a professional with strong quality inspection experience across civil, structural and architectural disciplines, with emphasis on piling, foundations, reinforced concrete works, structural steel, and rebar installation.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC inspections on large industrial or data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of piling, foundations, concrete, rebar, and steel work.
• Experience reviewing ITPs, method statements, and inspection records.
• Familiarity with international construction quality standards.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced construction environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections for civil, structural, and architectural works through the project lifecycle.
• Verify compliance of piling, earthworks, foundations, concrete, rebar, steel erection and architectural construction.
• Review ITPs, quality records, material inspections, and hold/witness points.
• Monitor contractor quality performance and adherence to standards.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare reports, NCRs, punch lists, and drive corrective actions.
• Verify material traceability, test results, concrete records, weld inspections and docs.
• Participate in quality walkdowns and support turnover to project completion.
• Collaborate with construction, engineering, QA/QC and client teams to meet quality requirements.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced QA CSA Inspector to support the delivery of a large-scale greenfield data centre project from the earliest construction phases through to completion. This role requires a professional with strong quality inspection experience across civil, structural and architectural (CSA) disciplines, with particular emphasis on piling, foundations, reinforced concrete works, structural steel, and rebar installation.

Unlike many data centre projects that focus primarily on fit-out and commissioning activities, this position will be involved from the ground-up construction phase, ensuring that all works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved ITPs, codes, standards, and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections and surveillance activities for civil, structural, and architectural works throughout the project lifecycle.
• Verify compliance of piling, earthworks, foundations, reinforced concrete, rebar installation, structural steel erection, and architectural construction activities.
• Review and witness inspection and test plans (ITPs), quality records, material inspections, and hold/witness points.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor quality performance and ensure adherence to project specifications and applicable standards.
• Conduct site inspections, prepare inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), punch lists, and follow-up corrective actions.
• Verify material traceability, test results, concrete quality records, weld inspections, and construction documentation.
• Participate in quality walkdowns and support turnover activities through to project completion.
• Work closely with construction, engineering, QA/QC, and client teams to ensure quality requirements are achieved.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a QA/QC Inspector or CSA Inspector on large industrial, mission-critical, data centre, energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with ground-up construction.
• Experience reviewing ITPs, method statements, quality documentation, and inspection records.
• Knowledge of relevant international construction and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.
