Job summary

Top Employers Institute is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing across Salesforce platforms and Mid-Market product, extending to public website. You will build and maintain the automation framework, use AI to accelerate testing, and ensure high-quality deliverables in a fully remote role.

You will work with developers, product owners, and stakeholders, reporting to the Salesforce Architect, in a diverse scrum team. 4+ years in QA and hands-on automation are required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in an international organisation.
• 4+ years in QA, with 2+ years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining automation frameworks with Playwright and Selenium.
• Experience automating dynamic web UIs, including Shadow DOM and Lightning-style components.
• Experience using AI tools to support test creation, maintenance, or debugging.
• Experience with API test automation (e.g., Postman/Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Copado) and version control (Git).
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Good functional understanding of the Salesforce platform.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of SOQL.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain the test automation framework for Salesforce apps and Experience Cloud portals.
• Extend automated coverage to the Mid-Market product and the public website when possible.
• Automate UI testing of dynamic Lightning and LWC interfaces, handling Shadow DOM and iframes.
• Apply AI-assisted techniques — test generation, self-healing locators, and AI-supported authoring and debugging — to make automation faster and more resilient.
• Create API and integration tests to validate service-layer integrations.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD and collaborate with developers in Agile ceremonies.
• Document test strategy and results and participate in sprint ceremonies.
• Participate in knowledge sharing with the team.
