Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen seeks a Python developer to join a multidisciplinary DevOps team building the next-generation analytics platform for asset management. You will integrate AI-powered capabilities into the platform and work closely with AI and other DevOps teams to ensure robust APIs and high-quality software.

The role focuses on delivering user-centric tools, maintaining data quality, and collaborating with stakeholders to understand use cases and business requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of recent Python software development experience.
• A solid understanding of Git and SQL queries.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, etc.).
• Experience with cloud deployments, preferably Azure.
• Experience in API design and automated testing.
• Curiosity about financial markets and processes.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multidisciplinary DevOps team building the analytics platform for asset management.
• Integrate AI solutions into the platform and create user-facing AI-infused apps.
• Improve APIs and ensure high quality code and data safety.
• Collaborate with the business to understand use cases and deliver the tools needed to progress.
