The Parts & Services Division in Sandvik Mining has a unique opportunity for an Operational Pricing Analyst to join our Pricing & Commercial Analytics team.
What is the right price? It is a question that influences customer value, market competitiveness, and profitability. As an Operational Pricing Analyst, you will use analytics and commercial insight to help answer that question for thousands of products sold to mining customers around the world.

Within Sandvik Mining, we sell large machines to our customers, for example to drill and transport rock. After the initial sale, these machines require maintenance or upgrades over their lifetime. That's where our division of Parts & Services comes in. We are responsible for the worldwide parts and services activities in Mining, with sales of around €2 billion in the mining and construction industries. Our customer base ranges from large multinational mining companies to mining contractors, but also to small and medium-sized enterprises that all use our equipment. We sell spare parts, upgrade kits, maintenance items, and even complete new engines.
Within the division of Parts & Services, our team is responsible for pricing all items, tracking our installed base of equipment, and commercial analytics and insights. In this role, your decisions have a direct impact on Sandvik's profit and commercial strategy and market share.
As Operational Pricing Analyst, you will be the person setting our prices. You will drive and implement our global pricing strategies and policies. You will analyse and compile different data sets to get the best perspective on new item prices or adjust existing prices. You ensure there is consistency in pricing levels and processes. In this position, you report to the Global Pricing Manager, and you will be based in Tampere (Finland) or Amsterdam (Netherlands). The role includes occasional international travel. We are looking for someone with a university degree in engineering, science, finance or business. You have the capability to understand (or learn about) technical products. You are able to think commercially and understand the impact of our pricing. Working with numbers and calculations comes naturally to you. Experience in pricing is a plus, but not necessary. Experience in sales strategy, commercial excellence and/or GTM strategies is a plus. Please elaborate on any relevant experience in your application. Advanced knowledge of Excel is critical, and PowerBI is a plus. As we operate in an international setting, you need to be fluent in English, both verbally and in writing. Fluency in Dutch or Finnish is a nice to have.
