Job summary

Corendon is seeking a Public Area Stylist for W Amsterdam. You will join the Style Team to keep public areas sparkling, coordinate with departments, and ensure guest comfort through meticulous attention to detail.

The role supports a fast-paced, guest‑centric environment in a luxury setting near Dam Square. Experience in a similar role and fluent English are required; Dutch or additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flawless presentation of Public Areas and Heart of House spaces.
• Collaborate with Style, Engineering, Welcome Desk and Laundry to keep the hotel running smoothly.
• Follow service procedures and maintain a polished, professional appearance.
• Respond to guest requests and report maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Bring the Whatever/Whenever philosophy to life and create WOW moments for guests.

What does the job include?

As a Public Area Stylist, you are part of the team that brings the W experience to life through flawless presentation, attention to detail and bold service. You work closely with your colleagues to make guest dreams come true and you stay fully in the know about our public areas, rooms and hotel facilities. You follow all service procedures, maintain a polished and professional appearance and protect company assets at all times.

You bring the Whatever/Whenever® philosophy to life by connecting with guests and personalizing their experience. You work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends and nights, and you prepare thoroughly for each shift to ensure smooth handovers. You thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment and collaborate with Style, Engineering, Welcome Desk and Laundry to keep the hotel running seamlessly.

You ensure all Public Areas and Heart of House spaces are always sparkling. You respond to guest requests, report maintenance issues or safety concerns, and welcome guests with a smile and personal connection. You use cleaning machinery and supplies correctly, respond promptly to Style leadership, and support the team by cleaning rooms when needed during night shifts.

You put the guest at the center of everything you do, and any task that creates a WOW moment becomes part of your role.
