Job summary

project44 is seeking a senior Project Manager for customer implementations in Amsterdam. You will own the full delivery lifecycle, coordinating across Solutions Architects, Engineering, Product, and Support to drive Go-Live readiness and post-launch validation.

You will manage timelines, risks, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while enabling fast-paced, global delivery. Occasional travel and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing project management roles.
• Experience managing multi-stakeholder, cross-functional projects.
• Strong risk, budget, and stakeholder management.
• Proficient with Jira, Confluence, MS Office.
• Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
• Experience with TMS, ERP, or supply chain systems (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle for customer implementations, from post-sale handover through Go-Live and Hypercare.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, aligning internal and customer teams.
• Lead project governance, status tracking, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; identify mitigation strategies and drive resolution.
• Manage project budgets and scope within agreed commercial parameters.
• Serve as the primary customer contact for project delivery, communication, and expectation management.
• Coordinate Solutions Architects, Engineering, Product, and Support teams.
• Facilitate project kick-off calls, weekly status meetings, steering committees when applicable, and Go-live readiness reviews.
• Support System Testing and UAT by coordinating timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
• Drive Go-Live planning and execution, including cutover coordination and post-launch validation.
• Oversee Hypercare and transition to Customer Success.
• Track project progress using internal tools such as Jira, Zendesk, Rocketlane, or equivalent.
• Contribute to process improvements, project management standards, and scalable delivery frameworks.
• Support pre-sales and discovery with input on timelines, delivery approach, and implementation feasibility

• Fluent in written and spoken English


• 5+ Years of experience in customer-facing project management roles


• Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects with competing priorities and timelines


• Strong expertise in risk, budget, and stakeholder management


• Experience with project and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, or equivalent


• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders


• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously


• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-functional, global environment


• Willingness to travel occasionally based on customer needs


• High ownership and accountability across project delivery; team-oriented, collaborative mindset; commitment to prioritizing customer value and outcomes; ability to work with urgency, structure, and clarity in complex, fast-paced environments
