Job summary

NTS Eindhoven is seeking a Project Manager to steer the production setup for an Analytical (sub)composition from development through release for volume. You will coordinate with the customer’s development department and an OEM in the analytical or semiconductor sector to align product requirements with manufacturability.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team and drive scope, targets and schedules, ensuring on-time delivery while maintaining quality and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters in engineering or equivalent, with strong project leadership.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex projects.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and prototyping.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Set scope and targets (QLTC) with stakeholders.
• Translate targets into a detailed project plan with customer and team.
• Agree on terms commercially with account management.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team including QA, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering and Assembly.
• Plan and control milestones within QLTC frameworks; manage changes.
• Provide regular progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

As a Project Manager at NTS Eindhoven you manage one or more teams that set up the production process for an Analytical (sub)composition. You lead the production process from development to ‘release for volume’. During the set-up of this production process, the product to be realised is still under development and requires close contact with the customer’s development department, an OEM in the analytical or semicon sector. With this, you look for the optimal alignment between functional product requirements and manufacturability in the product and process design.

Your duties also include:

• Setting scope and QLTC (Quality, Logistics, Technology and Costs) targets for the project in consultation with all stakeholders;
• Translating these targets into a project plan with the customer and the project team;
• Reach commercial agreement on this in collaboration with account management;
• Leading a multidisciplinary team: Supplier Quality Engineering, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering and Assembly;
• Planning and controlling the project in relation to set milestones and QLTC frameworks and changes introduced to them;
• Periodic reporting of progress (internal and external).

Job Requirements

To make this position a success, we are looking for a colleague who can function well in a team and act as a point of contact for the customer. You are able to take the lead in the project and continue where others stop. You also like to make continuous improvements. You are also able to balance between pragmatism and structure.

In addition to these (soft) skills, we are looking for a person with the following requirements:

• HBO+/WO Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Technical Business Administration;
• Experience as Project Manager in multidisciplinary complex projects; Project management techniques (e.g. PRINCE2, PMI and or IPMA);
• Broad knowledge of prototyping, establishing and improving manufacturing processes;
• Experience in semi-conductor or analytical industry is a plus;
• Knowledge and experience of Lean and Six Sigma.

• Salary from €4.000 to €6.500;
