Job summary

NTS in Nijmegen, Netherlands, is seeking a Project Manager to lead opto-mechanical projects from quotation to delivery and to bridge customers with internal teams, ensuring QLTC targets are met.

You will drive planning, risks and changes, coordinate manufacturing, supply chain, quality and engineering, and maintain strong stakeholder engagement. Dutch and English fluency are required, with a pragmatic, hands-on mindset to deliver high-tech solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Experience in project management within a high-tech manufacturing, mechatronics or high-tech systems environment.
• Strong affinity with manufacturing processes and operational project execution.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic, hands-on and result-driven mindset.
• Good command of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Job Description

As Project Manager at NTS Optel, you are responsible for managing customer projects from order intake through successful delivery. The primary focus of your projects is the manufacturing and realization of complex opto-mechanical systems. You act as the link between customers and the internal organization, ensuring projects are delivered according to agreed Quality, Logistics, Technology and Cost (QLTC) targets.

You coordinate all activities required for successful execution, while working closely with manufacturing, supply chain, quality and, where needed, engineering teams. By maintaining oversight, managing stakeholders and driving execution, you ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Furthermore, your key responsibilities are:
