Job summary

Isispace group in Delft is seeking a Project Manager to lead internal Satellite Software development projects, with the opportunity to also manage CubeSat mission projects. You will work with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.

The role requires at least 2 years of project management experience in complex technical systems, strong communication in English, and a proactive, team-focused mindset.

In the fast-growing small satellite market, we are looking for a Project Manager to lead internal Satellite Software development projects, with the opportunity to also manage CubeSat mission projects. We are seeking an experienced project manager who thrives in complex technical environments and has a strong background in software development projects, hardware development projects, or an integrated combination of both.

As part of an international and passionate team, you will be responsible for the successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects from initiation to completion. You will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, partners, and management to deliver projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Depending on the project portfolio, you will also collaborate directly with customers and suppliers, working alongside the project\'s Technical Lead to ensure technical and commercial success.

Your main responsibilities:

• Setting up and controlling project plans, including milestones, scope, and costs.
• Managing the day-to-day execution of projects.
• Coordinating internal resources and external partners/vendors on a daily basis.
• Maintaining relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.

• A degree or relevant experience in a technical field.
• Strict requirement of 2+ years of experience in project management of complex technical systems (involving software and/or hardware).
• Excellent and clear communication skills; fluent in English.
• Energetic team player with a positive and open mindset.
• Solution-driven and proactive work ethic.
• Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.

Preferred:

• Experience in space project management, particularly in small satellite projects.
• PRINCE2, IPMA, or PMP certification.
