Job summary

RAITH Group in Best, Netherlands, is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, test, and deploy software across embedded, backend, and system-level domains. You will collaborate with hardware, DevOps, and systems engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Degree HBO or university in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Physics, or related field.
• Proficiency in multiple languages: C, C++, Python, JavaScript, and others.
• Hands-on depth in at least one domain with flexibility to contribute across others.
• Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Git-based workflows, CI/CD, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
• Understanding of software–hardware integration and system interaction.

• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions in relevant domains (embedded, backend, or system-level integration).

Your Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development, or equivalent hands-on expertise.
• Degree HBO or university (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics, Physics, or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in software development across multiple domains, with experience in languages such as C, C++, Python, JavaScript, and others.
• Hands-on depth in at least one domain, with flexibility to contribute across others.
• Familiarity with modern software engineering practices, including Agile (Scrum, Kanban), Gitbased workflows (e.g., pull/merge requests), CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development in multidisciplinary teams.
• Understanding of system integration and interaction between software and hardware components.
