Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Project Manager in Zutphen, Netherlands, to plan, execute and close projects within time, scope and budget, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

You will report to the Plant General Manager and drive risk management, budget control, and quality assurance to ensure successful outcomes.

This role requires a Bachelor's in PM or engineering, 2+ years PM experience, Dutch and English proficiency; German is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in project management, mechanical engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in project management, preferably in a Production environment.
  • Mechanical technical affinity and background.
  • Dutch and English spoken and written. German nice to have.
  • Certification in project management is a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using project management software such as MS Project or similar.
  • Experience with budget management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, scope, timelines, milestones and resources.
  • Coordinate and motivate project teams to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively according to established deadlines.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate and manage these risks.
  • Establish and oversee the project budget, including monitoring expenditures and performing cost analysis to prevent budget overruns.
  • Ensure that all project deliverables meet established quality standards through regular quality checks and audits.
  • Maintain open and regular communication with all stakeholders, including providing updates and preparing status reports.
  • Ensure the successful completion of the project by validating final deliverables, evaluating the project process and documenting learning points for future projects.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing and completing projects within the specified time, scope and budget. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure that project objectives are achieved and high-quality results are delivered. The Project Manager reports directly to the Plant General Manager.
