Job summary

Sire Search is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary initiatives from strategic planning through implementation and handover. You will translate objectives and regulatory requirements into actionable plans, align stakeholders, and drive governance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in project or program management in a complex technical/industrial environment.
• Experience in transformation, change management, risk management, and governance.
• Strong stakeholder management, including working with senior management and steering committees.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives and regulatory requirements into practical implementation plans.
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English.
• Valid VCA-VOL certificate.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects from initiation and planning through implementation and operational handover.
• Translate strategic objectives, risks, and legal requirements into business cases and actionable project plans.
• Manage project scope, budgets, timelines, quality, risks, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
• Establish project governance and facilitate decision-making with management teams, project sponsors, and steering committees.
• Coordinate operational teams, HSE specialists, support departments, and external stakeholders.
• Functionally lead multidisciplinary project teams, clarify responsibilities, and ensure accountability.
• Monitor and communicate project progress, risks, deviations, and key decisions to relevant stakeholders.
• Drive change management and ensure improvements are embedded into operational processes, systems, and management practices.

Role Description

• Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with senior management and steering committees.
• Ability to translate strategic objectives and regulatory requirements into practical implementation plans.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
• Valid VCA-VOL certificate.
• Experience in HSE, manufacturing, steel, or heavy industry is an advantage.
• Recognized project or program management certification is preferred.
