Job summary

Bureau Veritas Cybersecurity in the Netherlands seeks a driven Project Manager to coordinate and deliver challenging projects within the Enterprise Business Unit. The role is based in Amsterdam or Eindhoven and can be performed in a hybrid manner.

You will join a team of five PMs and collaborate with ethical hackers, security consultants and behavioral specialists to serve clients in public, financial, technology, defense and security sectors.

We’re looking for a driven Project Manager who thrives on coordinating and successfully delivering challenging projects. In this role, you’ll be part of the Enterprise Business Unit. We have two offices in the Netherlands, one in Amsterdam and the other in Eindhoven. Your work location will be one of these offices. The position can be performed in a hybrid manner.

You’ll work in a team with four other Project Managers. In addition, you’ll collaborate with various cybersecurity professionals, such as ethical hackers, security consultants, and behavioral psychologists, who carry out projects for our clients in the public, financial, technology, defense, and security sectors. Together, we’re making the Netherlands a more cyber-secure country, and you can contribute directly to that effort.

You are detail-oriented and sociable, and you care about both the client and your immediate colleagues. You are responsible for planning and preparing projects, which includes ensuring up-to-date project documentation and effective coordination with the client. You’ll also ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget. In addition, you’ll assist with planning training sessions and courses and processing client feedback. Together with your team—as well as with Project Managers from other business units—you’ll ensure that consultants can successfully execute projects.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for

• planning and organizing projects

As our Project Manager, you have

• at least a higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thinking
• several years of experience as a project manager
• strong organizational skills, because you never know at the start of the day what the day will bring
• solution-oriented skills; you don’t shy away from sudden problems and can handle stress well
• communication skills and a good command of Dutch and English

You’re an excellent organizer, and coordinating and planning tasks comes naturally to you. We’re looking for someone who can easily switch between different tasks, is proactive, and has a flexible work ethic. You work accurately and enjoy managing projects from start to finish, including planning and project administration. Preferably, you have gained experience at an IT service provider. You’re a team player and a cheerful person with a “can-do” attitude.
