Job summary

TRS Staffing Solutions is seeking a Project Information Engineer to manage asset information and data flow across EPC project stages in Rotterdam. You will report to the Project Information Manager and contribute to information management requirements and data specifications for the project.

The role requires knowledge of data/information management systems, and exposure to large Oil & Gas EPC projects. You will coordinate with engineers and suppliers to ensure data quality and facilitate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Management or Data Management.
• Understanding of data/information/document management systems/tools.
• Experience or exposure to system engineering scope in large Oil & Gas EPC projects; familiarity with design applications/tools.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Project Information Manager to review information management requirements and prepare information & data specifications.
• Coordinate with information management system specialist to set up Project Database and Tools as required.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Supply Chain/Vendors, Completion and Quality teams to ensure data requirements are understood and complied with.
• Interpret reports for data consistency, compliance and completeness.
• Monitor and report data progress status regularly.
• Liaise with project functions and client to ensure data quality.
• Assist in hand-over to the client of completed project information & documentation per procedures.
• Assist in preparing close-out report on information management activities at project completion and suggest SBM improvements.

Project Information Engineer

Location: Rotterdam
Start date: ASAP / Q4 2026

As Project Information Engineer (Information Management) you will be assigned to large and complex projects to manage the entire asset information and data flow during all different EPC stages in the project. You will be reporting to the Project Information Manager on the project.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Project Information Manager on reviewing the client’s information management requirements for the project and prepare information & data specifications to be concluded in the project’s setup.
• Coordinate with information management system specialist to ensure that the Project Database and Tools are properly set up as per project requirement.
• Coordinate & advise Engineering, Supply Chain /Vendors & Suppliers, Completion and Quality teams to ensure data requirements are understood and complied with.
• Interpret reports for ingested data consistency, compliance & completeness
• On a regular basis; monitor and report data progress status.
• Liaise with other project functions and the client to ensure quality of the delivered data.
• Manage the hand-over to the client of competed project information & documentation in accordance with the agreed procedures.
• At project completion stage, assist in preparation of close-out report on information management activities including initiating improvement on SBM standards & methodology

Education

• A bachelor’s degree in either Engineering, Information Management or Data Management.

Experience

• Some understanding of data/information/document management systems/tools.
• Knowledge & work experience in system engineering related scope in large Oil & Gas EPC projects; will be an added advantage.
• Exposure and or work experience in handling system engineering design applications & tools; will be another further added advantage
