Responsibilities

• Oversee overall management of Ex compliance activities throughout the project.
• Surveillance & support of Ex activities (Engineering, Supply Chain, Construction).
• Interface between disciplines and project phases regarding Ex compliance.
• Issue monthly Ex project matrix and dashboard with accuracy.
• Deliver and maintain Project Ex assurance Plan and Ex specification.
• Prepare Ex matrix with the Ex data-coordinator for follow-up reporting.
• Coordinate with Area Project Managers for Construction on Ex requirements.
• Coordinate with Project Procurement Managers for Supplier bids.
• Ensure Ex requirements are included in Subcontractor contracts.
• Manage Supplier Ex compliance surveillance and QA at project level.
• Coordinate with Construction QA and Site Ex Lead on Ex documentation.

Title: Senior Project Engineer

Location: Rotterdam

As a Senior Project Engineer, you play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex projects. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technical and administrative project activities, ensuring the project objectives are met efficiently and within budget and time constraints. This senior role requires strong leadership and in-depth expertise across multiple project disciplines.

Responsibilities

• a) Is responsible for the overall management of Ex compliance activities throughout the project.
• b) Is responsible for surveillance & Support of Ex activities (Engineering +Supply Chain +Construction)
• c) Is in charge of interfaces between disciplines /project phases regarding Ex compliance on Project.
• d) Is accountable for the issuance of the monthly Ex project matrix and dashboard and their accuracy.
• e) Is responsible for delivery and maintenance of the Project Ex assurance Plan and Project Ex specification.
• f) Prepares the Project Ex matrix with the Ex project Data-coordinator, ensuring this tool covers all follow up and reporting required by Project Management Team during all project phases.
• g) Coordinates with Area Project Managers (APM) for Construction to ensure that Ex requirements are understood and accounted for CONTRACTOR/YARD proposal submissions and bid evaluations.
• h) Coordinates with Project Procurement Managers (PPM) for Supply Chain to ensure that Ex requirements are understood and accounted for SUPPLIER proposal submissions and bid evaluations.
• i) Ensures that same Ex requirements are part of the SUBCONTRACTOR contract and relevant exhibits.
• j) Manages the SUPPLIER Ex Compliance surveillance (quality assurance at project level), capturing deficiencies or clarifications required by project reviews based on inspection reports.
• k) Coordinates with Construction Quality Managers and Site Ex Lead to ensure that the Ex-requirements as specified in the Project Ex specifications and equipment specifications are adequately incorporated by SUBCONTRACTOR/YARD(s) in their relevant documents.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
