Job summary

Sunvest is a leading developer of nature-friendly Agri Solar Parks in Northwestern Europe. The Late-Stage Project Developer role is based in Utrecht and focuses on developing Sunvest’s Dutch solar projects, guiding them through contracting, financing and final realization.

You will join a young, international team and report to management, ensuring bankability of permits and contracts while balancing agricultural, biodiversity and community interests.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in economics or similar relevant study.
• Strong attention to contractual details and a high degree of accuracy.
• Comfortable working with financial structures and project financing.
• Ability to take a project through to financial close.
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• Knowledge of a third language (French or German) is an advantage.
• Experience with project development and contracting.
• 3-5 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in or leading in the development of nature-friendly agricultural solar parks and BESS projects.
• Assisting in or leading in the contracting and financing of such projects, bringing them to financial close and realization.
• Outsourcing to and guidance from advisors.
• Ensure the bankability of all permits, permissions and contracts for the project.
• You will work in collaboration with the project manager and the project partner as part of a young, international team.
