Job summary

Bennetboss is seeking an experienced Profile Project Manager/Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex Oil & Gas, EPC and FPSO projects from project kick-off through to final customer payment.

The role coordinates multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, fabrication, shipping and QA/QC activities while managing scope, budget, schedule, risks and customer requirements. The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in EPC and a strong technical background with interface management experience.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of EPC project engineering experience.
• Experience coordinating engineering, procurement and commissioning.
• Ability to manage full project life cycle including budgets and schedules.
• Strong client and supplier relationship skills.
• Willingness to travel to vendor sites.
• Experience with FPSOs and offshore oil & gas projects desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from internal kick-off through final customer payment, managing scope, deliverables, budget, schedule, progress, risks and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities, including interfaces with gas compressors, trains, packages and compression systems.
• Manage interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors, reviewing RFQs, specifications and contracts while supporting quotations and risk mitigation.
• Track project progress, maintain documentation, coordinate meetings and prepare status reports, with travel to vendor and project sites when required.

Profile Project Manager/ Project Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager / Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex Oil & Gas, EPC and FPSO projects from project kick-off through to final customer payment.

The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, fabrication, shipping and QA/QC activities, while managing project scope, deliverables, budget, schedule, risks and customer requirements. The position requires a strong technical background and the ability to manage interfaces between engineering disciplines, vendors, suppliers, procurement and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead projects from internal kick-off through to final customer payment, managing project scope, deliverables, budget, schedule, progress, risks and contractual requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary Engineering, Procurement and Construction activities, including technical interfaces involving gas compressors, compression trains, compressor packages, gas compression systems and compression modules.
• Manage interfaces between Engineering, Procurement, Vendors, Suppliers and Subcontractors, including review of RFQs, project specifications and contractual requirements, while supporting quotations, cost estimates, risk mitigation and timely resolution of technical and commercial issues.
• Track project progress, deliverables, actions and changes, maintain project administration and documentation, coordinate project meetings and prepare status reports, with travel to vendor and project sites when required.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a Project Engineer within EPC, with the potential to develop into a Project Manager.
• Strong technical background in multidisciplinary engineering projects, with experience coordinating engineering, procurement and commissioning activities.
• Proven ability to manage the full life cycle of a project from project scope, budgets, schedules, forecasts, risks and deliverables and commercial performance.
• Strong client, supplier and stakeholder management skills, including technical interface management and acting as a key point of contact.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deliverables and travel to vendor sites when required.
• Knowledge of gas compressors, compression trains, compressor packages, gas compression systems or compression modules is highly desirable.
• Experience within EPC Oil & Gas projects, preferably involving FPSOs, offshore platforms.
