Job summary

RIBOPRO in Oss, the Netherlands, is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the design, development and manufacturing of our state‑of‑the‑art mRNA production machine. You will own the end‑to‑end product development lifecycle and work with engineers and scientists to advance the technology from concept to industrialized reality.

We expect a Master/PhD in Mechanical/Mechatronics or Life Sciences, 3–5+ years’ experience, strong communication and autonomous problem solving.

Qualifications

• Master/PhD in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics or life-science oriented with production techniques.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience (preferably 5+).
• Excellent communication and ability to work in teams.
• Creative problem-solving across disciplines from molecular biology to engineering.
• Ability to work autonomously and meet project goals.
• Experience coordinating experiments and data analysis.
• Pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to design and develop new modules for the mRNA manufacturing machine.
• Own projects from ideation to execution and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define product features and requirements.
• Deliver high-impact outcomes independently.
• Stay updated on molecular biology trends and technologies.
