Job summary

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer.

  • Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines within larger projects.
  • Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English.
  • Experience with maritime electrical systems or shipbuilding is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and engineer complete electrical installations.

  • Prepare technical documentation and project specifications.

For nearly 50 years, our client has been a leading specialist in electrical engineering solutions for inland shipping and passenger vessels. They design, install, and maintain complete electrical systems, ranging from power management and navigation equipment to automation, lighting, and smart onboard technologies.

A newly established division is currently delivering a major shipbuilding program involving the construction of luxury river cruise vessels for one of the world's leading cruise operators. This long-term project offers the opportunity to contribute to technically advanced vessels where comfort, safety, automation, and maritime systems are fully integrated.

As a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering, you will take technical ownership of the complete electrical scope of large-scale shipbuilding projects.
