Job summary

FairPlay Engineering BV in the Netherlands is seeking a Project Engineer Electrical Engineering to own the full electrical scope of large-scale shipbuilding projects. You will lead engineering, coordination, and technical documentation while supporting commissioning and on-board installation.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Electrical Engineer or Project Engineer.
• Background in industrial, marine, offshore, or electrical engineering projects.
• Strong sense of ownership and responsibility.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines within larger projects.
• Professional proficiency in both Dutch and English.
• Experience with maritime electrical systems or shipbuilding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer complete electrical installations.
• Coordinate with project managers, suppliers, and production teams.
• Prepare technical documentation and project specifications.
• Support commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting onboard.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact throughout the project.
• Ensure technical quality, planning, and engineering standards are maintained.
