Job summary

VHE Industrial Automation is seeking a Project Engineer to guide technical projects end-to-end. You will coordinate with Buyers, Operations Managers, and Account Managers to ensure successful outcomes on the shop floor.

Your role blends organizational rigor with hands-on project realization in a small, driven team. You’ll manage planning, materials, and process documentation while serving as the primary contact for customers.

• Minimum 3 years coordinating in a technical environment.

Job description

VHE is a high-tech company with approximately 170 employees and growing ambitions. We are looking for a Project Engineer who, together with his/her team, is responsible for the complete realization of technical projects in the high-tech industry. You represent the customer’s interests and, where necessary, maintain contact with colleagues such as Buyers, Operations Managers, and Account Managers.

Together with your team, you are responsible for the organizational and technical preparation as well as monitoring the progress of projects on the shop floor. You are the face of VHE towards customers for your order portfolio. Your tasks include ordering the required components and materials, maintaining work instructions, procedures, planning, and project administration. In short, you manage the entire project realization process. What makes this role unique is that you work in a small and driven team within the VHE organization, where collaboration and short communication lines are key.

What do we expect?

You have at least a completed technical bachelor’s degree (HBO level) in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics. In addition, you have a minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a coordinating role within a technical environment. You are flexible, proactive, stress-resistant, and accurate, with a strong problem-solving mindset. You also have a strong sense of responsibility, commercial awareness, and good communication skills, both verbal and written. You have a good command of both the Dutch and English languages. We are looking for a true team player who, together with his/her team, will realize innovative high-tech projects in a dynamic environment.

• An attractive salary between €3,600 and €4,300 gross per month, depending on your education and experience. Any overtime is paid, and you will also receive holiday allowance.
