Job summary

We ARE Renewables is seeking a Project Controller to ensure accurate financial recording and contribute to energy security. You will monitor budgets, prepare forecasts, assess risks, and report to management within Storage & Terminals business control.

In this role you will collaborate with project teams, planners and finance colleagues to connect finances with planning, deliver reliable cost control, and drive professionalization of project control in a future-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• A completed higher professional or university education in a financial or economic field.
• Experience as a project controller within projects or asset-intensive environments.
• Demonstrable knowledge of project budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project budgets and promptly identify deviations with an impact on costs and energy security.
• Ensure thorough project administration.
• Prepare cost forecasts and update them based on progress, scope, and risks.
• Incorporate risk developments into financial forecasts, including contingency analyses.
• Assess planning and progress together with project teams and planners within the infrastructure.
• Prepare financial project reports for management and decision-making.
• Actively contribute ideas for improvements within project control and help further professionalization.
