SBM Offshore, a world-leading deepwater ocean-infrastructure expert, seeks a Project Contract Manager to ensure contract compliance and commercial optimization across major projects. You will lead contract strategy, manage main contracts, and drive risk and opportunity processes throughout project lifecycles.

The role requires extensive experience in contract management, including claims, EPCI, and subcontracting, with strong negotiation and governance skills.

Formación

• 15+ years of experience covering all aspects of contract management, including claims and EPCI.
• Broad experience in sales and lease contracts and contract negotiations.
• Experience of project execution interfaces.

Responsabilidades

• You manage Main Contracts.
• You manage and expedite contract deliverables and requirements.
• You support contracting strategies, including Sub-contracts & Supply Chain.
• You monitor performance and compliance with contractual requirements and signatory powers.
• You ensure commercial and contractual awareness across the Project Team.
• You maintain auditability of all commercial dealings with clear records and regular reporting.
• You participate in Risk and Opportunities management.
• You provide Contract Feedback during the life of the project.
• You ensure Guarantee period management.

Purpose

• The Project Contract Manager provides Contract Management support for major projects or unit execution across Supply Chain, Client focus and Subcontracting to ensure a contractually compliant and a commercially optimised contract. You ensure the mitigation of risk and maximisation of opportunity.

Responsibilities

• You manage Main Contracts.
• You manage and expedite contract deliverables and requirements.
• You support and coordinate the development of contracting strategies, including Sub-contracts & Supply Chain.
• You monitor performance and compliance with contractual requirements and signatory powers, expedite disciplines where necessary, and highlight potential areas of concern.
• You ensure commercial and contractual awareness across the Project Team throughout the life of the project.
• You achieve and maintain total auditability of all commercial and contractual dealings, including clear record keeping and regular commercial reporting.
• You participate in and provide input to Risk and Opportunities management.
• You provide Contract Feedback during the life of the project.
• You ensure Guarantee period management.

Education

• Degree or MBA in one of the following disciplines (Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying).

Experience

• 15+ years of experience covering all aspects contract management including Claims, EPCI, subcontract management.
• Broad experience in sales and lease contracts, in executing contract negotiation.
• Experience of project execution interface.
