Job summary
NTS Hengelo is seeking an Operational Buyer/Outsourcing Specialist to link suppliers with internal teams. You will manage procurement and outsourced manufacturing parts, ensuring materials are in the right place, at the right time, and in the right condition to keep production running smoothly.
You will monitor orders daily, liaise with Planning, and maintain supplier communications on confirmations, delivery times, and prices.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational education (MBO-4) or higher professional education (HBO) in logistics, procurement, or business administration.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Dutch and English.
- Demonstrable experience with ERP systems and Excel.
- Experience in a technical or production environment is a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
- Place, check, and monitor daily purchase orders for procurement and outsourced manufacturing parts.
- Monitor delivery times and act proactively to avoid delays, in close contact with Planning.
- Maintain intensive contact with national and international suppliers regarding confirmations and prices.
- Handle administrative tasks related to complaints, shortages, invoice discrepancies, and quality issues.
- Collaborate with Logistics to optimize inventory levels and daily prioritize tasks to prevent shortages.
