Huxley is seeking an experienced Program Lead to drive an enterprise-wide Data Platform Modernisation initiative. The role combines programme leadership with deep knowledge of enterprise data architecture, SAP data technologies, cloud data platforms, and large-scale transformations.

Initial 12-month contract with a programme likely to run around 2 years; Netherlands preferred, with monthly travel from other EU locations if needed.

Formación

• Experience leading large-scale enterprise data transformation programmes.
• Proven track record in SAP BW/BW4HANA modernisation or migration.
• Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture and cloud analytics ecosystems.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake or similar platforms.
• Strong ability to align business needs with technical transformation programmes.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Data Platform Modernisation programme from strategy to adoption.
• Define roadmap for transitioning from SAP BW/BW4HANA to a next-gen platform.
• Establish future-state architecture across data, analytics, AI, governance and integration.
• Guide architectural decisions for long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Shape cloud-based data platforms and emerging technologies (SAP BDC, Datasphere, Databricks, Fabric, lakehouse).
• Align leaders, architects, delivery teams and partners around a transformation vision.
• Create programme governance, delivery structures and decision-making frameworks.
• Engage with technology vendors and implementation partners.
• Drive adoption and ensure business value is realised throughout the journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Data Platform Modernisation programme from strategy and planning through execution and adoption.
• Define and drive the roadmap for transitioning from SAP BW and BW/4HANA environments to a next-generation enterprise data platform.
• Help establish the future-state architecture across enterprise data, analytics, AI, governance, and integration capabilities.
• Guide architectural decision-making and provide challenge where required to ensure long-term scalability and maintainability.
• Support the design of modern data capabilities including data products, semantic models, data governance frameworks, lineage, and data quality standards.
• Shape the organisation's approach to cloud-based data platforms and emerging technologies, including SAP Business Data Cloud, Datasphere, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, and lakehouse architectures.
• Align business leaders, architects, delivery teams, and external partners around a common transformation vision.
• Establish programme governance, delivery structures, operating models, and decision-making frameworks.
• Support strategic engagement with technology vendors and implementation partners.
• Drive organisational adoption and ensure business value is realised throughout the transformation journey.

Required Experience

• Proven leadership experience delivering large-scale enterprise data transformation programmes.
• Strong experience leading SAP BW or BW/4HANA modernisation, migration, or platform transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of enterprise data architecture, modern data platforms, and cloud analytics ecosystems.
• Experience with technologies such as SAP Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, or similar enterprise data platforms.
• Strong understanding of modern data management concepts including:
  • Data products
  • Data contracts
  • Master Data Management (MDM)
  • Metadata and lineage
  • Semantic data models
  • Data governance and quality frameworks
• Experience working closely with enterprise architects, data architects, engineering teams, and senior business stakeholders.
• Ability to bridge strategic business requirements with complex technical transformation programmes.
