Van Gelder Groente & Fruit zoekt een productiemedewerker in Ridderkerk. Je werkt mee aan de verwerking van verse groenten en fruit in de moderne productiehal, waar starttijden liggen tussen 6:00 en 8:00 uur en je samenwerkt met enthousiaste collega’s.

Dagelijkse taken zijn onder meer schillen, snijden, verpakken, labelcontrole en onderhoud van machines. Je woont binnen 50 km, werkt 32–40 uur, en geniet van een prettige werksfeer, vakantiegeld en reiskostenvergoeding.

Formación

• Je hebt mbo werk- en denkniveau.
• Bij voorkeur 0–2 jaar ervaring als productie-medewerker of vergelijkbaar.
• Je spreekt Nederlands of Engels voldoende om instructies te volgen.

Responsabilidades

• Verwerken van rauwe groenten en fruit, zoals schillen en zaden verwijderen.
• Handmatig of mechanisch snijden van groenten en fruit.
• Verpakken en herverpakken van producten.
• Afwerken van salades en andere producten op de productielijn.
• Containers handmatig vullen volgens instructies.
• Controleren van het gewicht en labelstatus.
• Zorgen voor correcte verpakking en seal.
• Dagelijkse schoonmaak en onderhoud van machines en gereedschappen.

Over de functie

As a production worker, you play a central role in processing fresh vegetables and fruit. Your day starts between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. in the state-of-the-art production hall, where you work alongside enthusiastic colleagues. Every day is different—sometimes you peel carrots, other times you slice peppers or check the packaging of ready-made salads. Everything revolves around quality and teamwork.

Your main tasks include:

• Processing raw vegetables and fruit, such as peeling and removing seeds
• Manually or mechanically cutting vegetables and fruit
• Carefully packing and repacking products
• Finishing salads and other dishes on the production line
• Manually filling containers according to instructions
• Checking the correct weight and ensuring products have the right labels
• Making sure packaging and seals are secure
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of machines and tools

You work from Monday to Saturday with two days off each week, offering a flexible 5-day work schedule. Shifts are during the day, with start times between 6:00 and 8:00 a.m. and finishing between 4:00 and 5:00 p.m.

Wat wij vragen

• You have mbo (secondary vocational) working and thinking level
• You preferably have 0 to 2 years of experience as a production worker, operator, or similar role
• You speak and understand Dutch or English well enough to follow instructions
• You are precise, hands-on, and enjoy practical work
• You live within 50 km of Ridderkerk and can travel to the location independently
• You are flexible and available for day shifts
• You are a team player
