Job summary

Van Gelder Groente & Fruit zoekt een Productie medewerker in Ridderkerk voor een moderne productieomgeving met aardappelen, groenten en fruit. Je start tussen 06:00 en 08:00 en werkt met een enthousiast team aan verwerking, verpakking en afhandeling op de lopende band.

Je werkt van maandag tot zaterdag, met twee vrije dagen per week; twee zaterdagen per maand en een flexibele fulltime werkweek van 5 dagen. Dagdiensten eindigen tussen 16:00 en 17:00.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau werken en denken vereist.
• Ervaring als Production Worker, Packer of Operator in voedingsmiddelen is een voordeel.
• Nauwkeurig werken met oog voor kwaliteit.
• Beschikbaar van maandag tot zaterdag, twee zaterdagen per maand.
• Woonachtig binnen 30 km van Ridderkerk.
• Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke kennis van Nederlands of Engels.

Responsibilities

• Verwerken van aardappelen, groenten en fruit op de productievoorraad.
• Verpakken en opnieuw verpakken, volgens specificaties.
• Salades en maaltijden afwerken op de lopende band.
• Containers vullen, gewicht controleren en etiketten bevestigen.
• Machines en gereedschappen schoonhouden en onderhouden.

Over de functie

You will be working at a modern production facility focused on fresh potatoes, vegetables, and fruit. Your day starts between 06:00 and 08:00, depending on your shift, and together with an enthusiastic team, you process the best products for the Dutch food service industry. Your tasks are varied: from peeling and cutting vegetables and fruit – both by hand and with machines – to carefully packing and repacking various products. You also finish salads and other meals on the conveyor belt. You fill containers according to clear instructions, check the correct weight, the right stickers and dates, and make sure all packaging is properly sealed. Cleaning and maintaining machines and tools is also part of your job. You work Monday through Saturday, but get two days off every week. You work two Saturdays each month, making it a flexible full-time workweek of 5 days. Day shifts end between 16:00 and 17:00.

Wat wij vragen

• You have an mbo level of working and thinking
• Preferably, you have experience as a Production Worker, Packer, or Operator in the food industry
• You work accurately and have an eye for quality
• You are available from Monday to Saturday and can work two Saturdays per month
• You live within 30 kilometers of Ridderkerk
• You speak and understand Dutch or English well enough to follow instructions
• You are flexible and enjoy working in a team
