Job summary

Henkel in Amsterdam is seeking a motivated intern to support a global Packaging Transparency transformation program. You will engage with international suppliers to collect packaging data and coordinate supplier onboarding activities.

This internship offers a 6-month, full-time assignment with 40% remote work and an emphasis on data analysis, Excel, and dashboard development in Power BI, collaborating with Procurement, Sustainability, Packaging Engineering and Digital teams.

Qualifications

• Excellent Excel skills for data cleaning, tracking and reporting.
• Strong communication skills and stakeholder follow-up.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Experience with large datasets; Power BI is a plus.
• Proactive, self-driven with project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a global Packaging Transparency transformation program.
• Engage with international suppliers to collect packaging data.
• Coordinate supplier communication and onboarding activities.
• Monitor project KPIs and data collection progress.
• Consolidate, validate and analyze packaging specification data.
• Support development of digital tools and reporting dashboards.
• Prepare communication material, trainings and project updates.
• Work with Procurement, Sustainability, Packaging Engineering and Digital teams.
• Help improve compliance readiness for future sustainability regulations.
• Gain hands-on experience in a global strategic procurement project.
