Job summary

Hessing Greenport zoekt een Production Operator A die zorgt voor een efficiënte productie en naleving van kwaliteits- en veiligheidsnormen. Je stelt machines in, bewaakt de lijn en rapporteert afwijkingen tijdig.

Je opereert in een 24/7 omgeving met weekend- en nachtdiensten. Ervaring in voedselproductie en kennis van HACCP/BRc zijn een pré; Dutch/English communicatief vaardig.

Qualifications

• MBO niveau 2 werk- en denkskills, met relevante ervaring in een vergelijkbare rol.
• Kennis van HACCP/kwaliteitseisen is een pluspunt.
• Goede observatie- en rapportagevaardigheden.

Responsibilities

• Machines en geautomatiseerde processen opzetten en bewaken.
• Productie bijhouden, orders volgen en bijsturen.
• Kwaliteitscontroles uitvoeren, inclusief metaaldetectie, en issues melden.
• Orde en veiligheid op de lijn handhaven.
• Line-staf begeleiden en zorgen voor naleving van regels.
• Afwijkingen escaleren waar nodig.

Over de functie

The Operator A is responsible for ensuring that the assigned production line operates efficiently, producing products that meet both quality and quantity standards. This role involves performing basic production tasks while strictly adhering to safety and quality regulations.

Your key Responsibilities

• Set up and monitor machines and automated processes
• Track production, manage orders, and make adjustments
• Perform quality checks, including metal detection, and report issues
• Maintain order and safety on the line
• Guide and supervise line staff to ensure compliance
• Escalate any deviations

Working hours

• Our warehouses operate 24/7, so the work schedule includes weekend shifts as well as morning, afternoon, and night shifts.

Shift start times vary depending on the shift and the team. For example, a morning shift may start at 06:00, 08:00, or 10:00.

Wat wij vragen

• MBO level 2 work and thinking skills, with relevant experience in a similar role
• Experience in the food production industry, quality standards (HACCP, BRC)
• Ability to operate and monitor machinery, handle production data, and perform quality checks
• Good proficiency in Dutch and/or English language
