Job summary

Chromalloy Holland in Tilburg is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our aerospace precision team. You will set up, operate, and optimize 4- and 5-axis turning and milling machines to produce and repair high-value aircraft engine components with tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• VMBO/MBO in Machining, Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Experience with CNC turning and milling in high-precision manufacturing.
• Ability to operate 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines.
• Experience with grinding processes is highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and stay within tight tolerances.
• Commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Performing grinding operations in accordance with strict quality requirements
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work instructions
• Conducting dimensional inspections using precision measurement equipment
• Identifying and resolving machining and process deviations
• Supporting continuous improvement, Lean, and 5S initiatives
• Maintaining a safe and organized work environment

What Are We Looking For?

We are seeking a highly motivated machining professional with experience in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Vocational education (VMBO/MBO) in Machining, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
• Experience with CNC turning and/or milling
• Experience operating 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines
• Experience with grinding processes is highly preferred
• Proven ability to work within extremely tight tolerances
• Experience with single-piece manufacturing or high-mix/low-volume production is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement
• Good command of the English language, both written and spoken
