Job summary
QphoX in Delft, Netherlands, is seeking a Production Engineer to join our Engineering team, developing and manufacturing advanced electro-optical systems for quantum computing applications. You will work hands-on across optics, electronics, mechanics, and manufacturing to scale hardware from prototype to production, building, testing, and improving assemblies, and supporting NPI activities.
The role emphasizes precision, quality, and cross-functional collaboration with engineers and scientists
Qualifications
- BSc degree in a related technical field.
- 2–5 years in manufacturing or assembly engineering.
- Experience with precision assembly and PCB soldering.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting of complex hardware.
- Ability to read drawings and BOMs.
Responsibilities
- Build, test, and improve electro-optical assemblies per procedures.
- Support prototype builds, pilot production and NPI activities.
- Perform functional testing, diagnostics, and failure analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize designs and processes.
- Create and maintain assembly docs and production records.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate material requirements.
- Work in a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists.
