Job summary

Supermicro is seeking a motivated Production Engineer to optimize production processes on the electronics/high-tech manufacturing floor. You will troubleshoot equipment, drive continuous improvement, and work with cross-functional teams to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in production/manufacturing, electronics/high-tech preferred.
• Experience optimizing processes and working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong manufacturing process and quality control knowledge.
• Lean/Six Sigma familiarity is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with analytics tools is beneficial.
• Clear English communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production floor operations to ensure smooth, efficient processes.
• Analyze and optimize manufacturing processes for quality and cost improvements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment (mechanical, electrical, software).
• Collaborate with Quality Control to address production issues and ensure safety compliance.
• Document production activities and generate daily/weekly/monthly reports.
• Coordinate with planning to ensure material availability and inventory control.
• Promote safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
