Job summary

Workstead, based in Putten, Netherlands, seeks a Production Worker to operate the poultry production line and handle related tasks in a cold environment. The role covers shifts from early morning to evening, with 40 hours per week and overtime during peak periods.

You will unpack pallets, assist with line readiness, and clean containers after product removal, in a family-owned, halal-certified facility with support from a multilingual coordinator.

Qualifications

• Experience in the meat or production industry is preferred but not required.
• Motivation and reliability are essential.
• Standing work with lifting and physical tasks is expected.
• English language requirement at A1 level; driving licence preferred but not required.

• Operate the production line for chicken fillets, wings, burgers and frikandelles.
• Unpack pallets and prepare units for production.
• Clean containers after removal of chicken products.

Job description

Salary

• Hourly rate: €15,85.
• Monday – Friday (05:00 – 21:00): 100%.
• Saturday (21:00 – 05:00): 130%.

A family-owned company specializing in poultry processing since 1935. In their BRC-A and halal-certified production facilities in Putten (Netherlands), approximately 200 employees are involved in cutting and producing poultry products. The product range includes about 250 tons of fresh chicken breast fillets per week, chicken wings, semi-finished products such as Baader and MDM, and frozen convenience products, including halal chicken burgers and frikandelles. In addition to the production facilities, the company also has a trading department that imports and exports products worldwide.
