Job summary

AWL-Techniek is seeking a Production Team Leader to guide a 15-20 person team of project coordinators, technicians, and robotic welders on the shop floor in the Netherlands. You will translate project requirements into realistic workforce and capacity plans, monitor progress, and identify bottlenecks before they impact delivery.

Qualifications

• MBO level 4 qualification with demonstrated HBO-level working and thinking ability.
• Experience in a similar leadership role within an industrial environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into realistic workforce and capacity plans.
• Monitor progress and identify bottlenecks before delivery.
• Translate project schedules into staffing and capacity plans.
• Identify and resolve planning, capacity, materials, and progress bottlenecks.
• Scale external resources up or down to meet project demands.
• Support the Operational Planner with capacity planning challenges.
• Ensure optimal staffing levels and employee development plans.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on lead time, quality, and productivity.
• Advise management on department development and long-term continuity.
