Job summary

Advanced Energy seeks a diligent Tester/QA specialist to join our engineering team in Valkenswaard. You will perform functional, environmental, and performance tests on products and components, record results, and collaborate with design and quality groups to ensure reliability and compliance.

You will set up test equipment, analyze data for deviations, support prototype evaluations, and help maintain documentation and safety protocols. Strong detail orientation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical certification required; associate degree in electronics, engineering technology, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in a testing or quality assurance role.
• Familiarity with electrical, mechanical, or environmental testing methods.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with data entry and basic computer applications (Excel, Word).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional, environmental, and performance tests on products and components.
• Set up and operate test equipment and instrumentation.
• Record and analyze test data, identify deviations, and report findings.
• Assist in troubleshooting and root cause analysis of test failures.
